The competition for Gold and World Records is heating up and gaining excitement in Summer Athletics 2009. Different athletes from around the world take part by running, throwing, jumping and swimming to get to the top where split seconds decide who comes first and who comes second.

Summer Athletics 2009 features 28 disciplines where you can compete with the world’s best athletes in the classic game play mode where you create a custom athlete where you can progress through a career and get ready for the Berlin Championship Mode.

You can challenge your friends to play with you on Summer Athletics 2009 using local multiplayer or hot seat multiplayer mode where you take it in turns to do your event if it is not directly against each other. You can set the difficulty when setting up an event so it determines the strength of the AI opposition.
