James Cameron's Avatar is the most technically advanced film ever made and this has now inspired a video game that is set to make the world of Pandora interactive and just like the film you have to make the choice whether to side with the human army or the native Na’vi as they are at war for control of the planet. James Cameron oversaw the whole development of the game so this is set to be one of the most authentic games based on a movie ever!
You will need to be strong as well as clever to win the war though, you can unlock new abilities that can change the outcome of the war and you have a complete map of the overview to keep an eye on.
You can explore the world of Pandora in an exclusive story that is set before the actual movie but it was created with the aid of the film creators themselves even including James Cameron. Stunning graphics give you the feel of the film from the massive islands that are floating to the deadly wildlife, everything is lifelike.
As you work your way through the game you build up effort points which will allow you unlockables such as air strikes and invisibility for the humans or deadly animal mounts as the Na’vi.
Playing the game on the Xbox 360 enables you to experience the whole game in full High Definition to help it seem like you are in the movie, especially if you are using a 120 Hz TV and HDMI.
